First established in 1945, Oak Park, a mid-size Oakland County community, is known for its long traditions as well as ethnic and cultural diversity. Nicknamed the “family city”, Oak Park is home to over 32,000 people and offers both visitors and residents access to outstanding parks, scenic neighborhoods and a thriving downtown business community.

One of the many benefits of living in Southern Michigan and communities such as Oak Park, is the high standard of living, city services, resources for the elderly as well as the ample resources for recreation. Youth programs, adult fitness, a pool, special events and a youth camp in addition to sports programs, all allow residents of Oak Park to stay active and enjoy all that makes Southern Michigan special.

Unfortunately, for many with rheumatic conditions, getting out and enjoying these and other community events and activities can be difficult. For this reason, finding a qualified and caring rheumatologist to help you is important. Rheumatic conditions can impact anyone, young or old. Whether you are recently diagnosed or dealing with a long-term diagnosis, we can help.
